The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a large spreading crown. The variety belongs to the mid-early group; the ripening period in the conditions of Southern Moravia occurs around July 22.

Fruits are large or very large, turbinate in shape. The skin is dark orange-yellow with a distinct red blush. The flesh is orange in color, very juicy, medium-firm, with a sweet-and-sour taste and typical aroma.

The variety is self-fertile. It is characterized by a relatively low degree of premature tree decline and is often used in breeding research as a standard for evaluating the resistance of flower buds to spring frosts.
