The Briška napoleonka variety, also known as Napoleonka s kratkim pecljem, is a regional variety of folk selection, adapted to the conditions of Slovenia. The tree flowers in medium-late periods, fruits ripen in mid-June.

The fruits are distinguished by their large size and firm flesh, and also have characteristic short stems. For cross-pollination, the varieties Van, Vipavka, Hedelfinška and Stella are recommended. The variety belongs to the "Napoleon" type group by its morphological characteristics, however, it is an independent local form.
