The Broksec rootstock provides medium to medium-high vigor for grafted trees, amounting to approximately 80% of the growth on wild sweet cherry seedlings. In the nursery, the trees are characterized by an upright habit.
The root system of the rootstock is well-developed, possesses high anchorage and stability in the soil with a low to medium level of root sucker formation. The rootstock adapts well to various soils, including dry and calcareous ones, and possesses good compatibility with major sweet cherry varieties.
