The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work involving the irradiation of the original "Burlat" variety. The tree is characterized by a semi-upright growth habit, high vigor, early onset of bearing, and good yield. The variety can also be used as a pollinator for other varieties.

The fruits ripen in mid-May, have a kidney shape and a dark red color. The size of the fruits is about 26 mm, the sugar content varies from 14 to 16° Brix. The flesh has medium to good firmness; the variety is characterized by medium susceptibility to fruit cracking.
