The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4 to 8 meters. The crown of an adult plant is broad-spherical and spreading. The variety is mid-season, with fruit ripening occurring in July.
The fruits are large or very large, heart-shaped. Upon full ripening, the skin is bright yellow with a red blush on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is firm (cartilaginous), light yellow in color, and moderately juicy. The taste of the fruits is sweet, spicy, with a slight acidity.
The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators such as Hedelfinger Riesenkirsche, Regina, Schneiders späte Knorpelkirsche, Große Schwarze Knorpelkirsche, or Kassins Frühe. It is characterized by moderate resistance to fruit cracking but is sensitive to late spring frosts during the flowering period. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
