The tree is vigorous, forms a broad, dense, flat-round crown and reaches a height of 4 to 6 meters. The fruits are large or very large, weighing about 6.6–7 g, broad-heart-shaped. The skin is orange-yellow with an intense red blush and sometimes visible dark red stripes.
The flesh is light yellow, firm, juicy, with a sweet taste with a slight spiciness and moderate acidity. The variety is medium-late maturing, characterized by high and regular yields. The plant is winter-hardy; with an excess of moisture during ripening, the fruits may crack.
The variety is self-incompatible; to obtain a yield, the presence of pollinator trees is required, such as Hedelfinger Riesenkirsche, Regina, Schneiders späte Knorpelkirsche or Große Schwarze Knorpelkirsche. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
