The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, forming a large and dense canopy. Scaffold branches are oriented vertically, while peripheral branches may droop under the weight of the crop. The variety is self-incompatible and flowers early. The tree is characterized by high longevity and hardiness.

The fruits are medium or large in size, have a dark red or almost black color, and a glossy skin. The flesh is juicy, firm or medium-firm, and possesses a sweet-spicy taste. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The variety possesses medium winter hardiness of the wood and flowers. Low susceptibility to Monilinia and fruit cracking is noted, as well as resistance to damage by the cherry fruit fly and birds.
