The variety is early, maturing 11–14 days earlier than the ‘Bing’ standard. The tree has vigorous or moderate growth depending on the rootstock. Fruits are medium-sized, round or heart-shaped, with a glossy mahogany-colored skin and juicy, firm flesh.
The fruit taste is sweet, with sugar content ranging from 16 to 19%. The variety is noted for good transportability. It possesses partial tolerance to fruit cracking, though it can be sensitive to spring frosts.
