The variety is a tree with medium to above-average vigor and an upright crown type. It belongs to a group of varieties including Vipavka, Cepljenka, and Goriziana, and holds the status of a historically established regional variety.

The fruits are of medium or small size and heart-shaped. The skin is red, the flesh is pinkish, juicy, and of medium density. The stone is partially clinging, the taste is sweet, with an aroma.

The variety has good productivity. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and home processing, including compotes and preserves.
