The variety Dunajka is recognized as a synonym for the historical variety Napoleon. Its origin is linked to the Central European region, where it became widespread under various local names.

The fruits belong to the Bigarreau group and are characterized by their large size and firm flesh. The skin is yellow with a red blush. Due to their high firmness, the fruits are well-suited for transportation and culinary processing, including canning.

The tree is often described as semi-dwarf in growth habit. Flowering occurs in early April, and fruit ripening occurs in mid-summer.
