The fruits of the variety have a spheroidal shape, an intense red skin color, and a thin peduncle of medium length. The flesh is firm, fleshy, juicy, and clings to the stone. The weight of the fruits is approximately 700 g per 100 pieces.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption; the fruits ripen between May and June. Due to the high density of the flesh, the cherries tolerate transportation well. The variety is adapted to the specific soil and climatic conditions of the Veneto region.

The origin of the variety is natural; it was not obtained through targeted breeding. In scientific literature, there are discussions regarding the possible identity of this variety with the "Mora di Cazzano" or "Mora di Verona" varieties.
