The rootstock is a selected clone of Prunus avium, bred for use as a base for grafting varieties. In terms of vigor, it is comparable to the F12/1 rootstock and provides more uniform scion canopy development compared to wild cherry seedlings.
The plant possesses good adaptability to various soil types, with the exception of areas with a risk of waterlogging. The rootstock breeding was conducted with consideration for resistance to anthracnose, and the planting material is produced as virus-free.
