Tree is vigorous or medium-sized with an upright spreading crown of medium density. Fruit weight is 7–10 g, in some cases reaching 12–14 g. Skin color is purple-red, flesh is firm, dense, red in color with a rich sweet taste.
The variety belongs to the mid-late category, fruit ripening occurs in the period from late June to mid-July. It possesses good winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and is relatively resistant to fruit cracking under high humidity.
The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties, such as Bing, Van, Rainier or Stella. Lambert itself is often used as a pollinator for other sweet cherry varieties. The purpose of the fruit is universal, including fresh consumption and industrial processing.
