The variety has a semi-upright crown, branches well, and is suitable for training as a central leader. It belongs to the self-incompatible group (S1S9); Samba, Sweet Heart, and Staccato varieties are required for pollination.

Fruits are large, reaching 28–30 mm in diameter, and have a kidney shape. The flesh is dark red, firm, and juicy, with a sugar content of 23–25° Brix. The variety matures 6 days after Burlat and has low resistance to fruit cracking.
