IFG Cher-two
ActivePrunus avium (L.) L. · Sweet cherry
David W.Cain
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing «Knauffs Schwarze» and «Souvenir des Charmes». The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and good branching ability. Due to the very early flowering period, there is a risk of blossom damage by spring frosts.
The fruits are large, reaching a diameter of 27–30 mm, and have a dark red, almost brownish-black color. The flesh is firm and distinguished by a sweet, delicate taste and aroma. The variety ripens early, simultaneously or a few days before the «Burlat» variety.
