The sweet cherry variety Naresa (breeding number Na 1032) belongs to early-ripening varieties. The tree demonstrates high winter hardiness, confirmed under exposure to field frosts down to –25°C.
Genetically, the variety possesses S2S3-type self-incompatibility. In comparison with some other breeding samples, Naresa fruits have an increased susceptibility to cracking.
