The variety is of folk origin and is traditionally grown in home gardens for fresh consumption. The fruits are medium or medium-large in size, round-heart-shaped, sometimes with pronounced knobbiness.

The fruit skin is yellow-orange with red-orange shades and many lenticels. The flesh is light yellow, aromatic, sweet in taste, and of medium consistency. Fruit transportability is low.
