The fruits of the Oana variety have a weight of 7.5 to 7.9 g; their dark red, glossy skin has medium thickness and elasticity. The peduncle is medium-sized and holds firmly; no juice is released when the fruit is detached.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption and industrial processing. The plant is included in studies evaluating resistance to diseases and low temperatures as part of Romanian breeding programs.
