The PISUE 161 variety, known under the trade name Aria, was obtained by crossing the varieties Krupnoplodnaya and Moldavskaya chernaya. The fruits have a kidney shape and dark red skin and flesh color. The average fruit diameter is 31 mm, weight is 13 g, and the stalk is of medium length.
The tree has medium vigor and is well suited for grafting onto dwarfing rootstocks. The variety is self-incompatible and belongs to the XVIII incompatibility group (S1S9 alleles). Maturity occurs approximately 14 days after the Burlat variety, which corresponds to the 4th cherry week.
