The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Schneiders Späte Knorpelkirsche and Rube. The tree is characterized by medium vigor and a compact, moderately dense pyramidal crown. It enters fruiting 3–4 years after planting.
Fruits are large, weighing 9–14 g, with a heart-shaped or rounded form and dark red glossy skin. The flesh is red, firm, juicy, and cartilaginous, with a sweet taste and slight acidity. The variety matures in the second half of July.
The plant possesses high resistance to fruit cracking under high humidity and low susceptibility to grey mold. The variety is self-sterile; for pollination, it requires other varieties such as Kordia or Carmen.
