The tree is vigorous, forming a semi-open or pyramidal crown. Fruits weighing 8-15 g have a broad heart-shaped or round form; the skin turns almost black upon full ripening. The flesh is firm, red, juicy, and sweet.
The variety ripens in late July — early August. It possesses resistance to fruit cracking from rain and to Monilinia, while showing susceptibility to some viral diseases. Yield is stable but not the highest; using dwarfing rootstocks is recommended to increase it.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators such as Summit, Sunburst, Hedelfinger, or Lapins. The fruits have good keeping quality and are suitable for market purposes.
