Hedelfinger Reisenkirsche is an old sweet cherry variety, the fruits of which are characterized by a large size, firm structure, and a dark red, almost black color.
Badacsonyi óriás is a Hungarian variety with large dark mahogany-colored fruits and a long, thin pedicel. The tree grows vigorously and starts fruiting early, but is sensitive to frost and infestation by the cherry fruit fly, while the fruits are relatively resistant to cracking during rain.
