The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Hedelfinger and Germersdorfer. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, good winter hardiness, as well as high resistance of flowers and ovaries to spring frosts. Flowering is semi-late.
Fruits reach an average weight of 7.2–8.0 g and have a dark burgundy color. The flesh is firm, the juice is ruby-red in color, and the stone separates easily. Ripening occurs in mid-June, which allows the variety to be used to fill the temporal gap in fruiting between other popular varieties.
