The variety Mari Timpurii, clone 11, is presumably a hybrid of sour cherry and sweet cherry. Trees are characterized by medium vigor, reaching a height of 3.5 to 4.9 m. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
The variety is early, with fruits ripening in June. Under experimental conditions without the use of fungicides, no Monilinia infection of flowers and shoots was observed. Biologically, the variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination for fruit set.
