The plant can be formed as a multi-stemmed bush 2–3 meters high or a tree up to 5 meters high with drooping branches. With age, the crown acquires a spreading weeping shape. Dark green leaves have an elongated-oval shape and are characteristically folded along the central vein like a boat.
Fruits weighing 2.5–3.5 g have a dark red, almost black color and possess a sweet and sour taste. Crop ripening occurs in late July. The variety is characterized as self-sterile and requires the mandatory presence of pollinator varieties to obtain a harvest.
