The tree can reach a height of 2.5 to 6 meters. The crown varies in density, young branches are often thin and drooping, leaves are dark green, ovate. Flowering occurs in April–May with simple white flowers.
The fruits are round in shape, dark red or light red in color, ripening in July. The variety is winter-hardy and is characterized by a high content of polyphenols and anthocyanins in the fruits. It can be grown on various rootstocks, including sweet cherry and Mahaleb cherry.
