The tree is vigorous, forming a wide, spreading crown of rounded shape. The variety is a hybrid of cherry and sweet cherry (duke), although it is often classified as a cherry variety.
The fruits are large or very large, round-oblong, slightly flattened at the peduncle, light red in color with a marbled pattern and small dots. The flesh is yellowish-white, very juicy and soft; the stone is relatively large and separates easily.
The variety ripens in late June, is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties. It is sensitive to drought and late spring frosts, and is characterized by moderate yield and low transportability of the fruits.
