The variety belongs to old types of folk selection from the Slavonia region. The fruits have an elliptical shape, the leaf shape is also elliptical. The variety is included in the Croatian genetic resources databases for the conservation of biodiversity.
The fruits of the variety have a high content of soluble solids, reaching 21.96° Brix, which makes them in demand for the production of strong alcoholic beverages. During field trials, the variety showed no infection with Plum pox virus.
