10 August 2026
At the beginning of development, the tree exhibits vigorous growth, which slows down upon reaching the fruiting stage. During full productivity, the main branches take on an almost horizontal position under the weight of the fruit. The variety is self-fertile and susceptible to plum pox virus, showing mild symptoms of the disease.
The dark blue fruits are often covered with bloom and have an oval shape. The flesh is firm, yellow, and aromatic, with a moderate content of sugar and acid. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and canning; the fruits store well in cool conditions.
