The tree is characterized by medium vigor, the crown is broad-pyramidal, sparse or of medium density. The fruits are large, firm, with orange flesh that is colored red near the skin. The stone is of medium size, not separating from the flesh. The taste of the fruits is sweet and sour with a faint aroma.
The variety ripens in the mid-season, at the end of July. It possesses good resistance to moniliosis and clasterosporiosis, while winter hardiness and drought tolerance are rated as medium. The origin is linked to the hybridization of Japanese plum and cherry plum.
