The variety is a hybrid (Prunus salicina × P. cerasifera) of Russian origin. The tree is weak- or medium-growing, reaching up to 3.5 meters, forming a spherical, spreading, sparse crown.
The fruits ripen in mid-August. They have a medium size from 19 to 28 g, an oval shape with a pointed tip. The skin is yellow with an intense red blush and a waxy coating; the flesh is tender, juicy, fibrous, and sweet-and-sour in taste. The stone separates poorly from the flesh.
The variety is partially self-fertile; pollinators are required for stable yield. It possesses high winter hardiness, and the fruits are used both fresh and for processing.
