The tree is medium-sized or vigorous with a dense crown, which changes shape from broadly pyramidal to rounded with age. The variety is self-fertile, however, cross-pollination with the varieties Stanley, Renklod Altana, or Anna Späth contributes to increased yield.
The oval-ovoid fruits weighing 35–50 g have dark purple skin with a waxy bloom and firm golden flesh. The medium-sized stone separates well. The variety possesses high drought tolerance and winter hardiness; however, susceptibility to Monilinia and brittleness of branches are noted.
The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and all types of industrial processing. Harvesting occurs from the end of August to the beginning of September.
