The tree is medium-sized, reaching 3–4 m in height, and forms a broadly oval or rounded crown. Young shoots may have thorns. The variety is precocious, entering into fruit-bearing 3–4 years after planting.

Fruits weighing 50–60 g, broadly ovate in shape, covered with an intense waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green or orange, juicy and sweet. The stone does not always separate well. The variety is susceptible to Plum pox virus and possesses medium winter hardiness.

To ensure yield, the variety requires pollinator varieties, such as Stanley, Bluefre, Amers, Empress, President, or Cacanska Rodna.
