The plum variety V 70031, also known under the trade name Valerie, was developed in Canada at Vineland Station. Genetically, the variety is the result of crossing the parent pair Valor and California Blue.
The variety is officially included in registers, including the registers of the Federal Plant Variety Office of Germany, however, detailed agronomic characteristics and morphological traits are not presented in open sources.
