The variety forms a vigorous tree reaching a height of 6 to 9 meters, with a pyramidal, sparse, or broad upright crown. The medium-sized fruits are oblong, colored blue or blue-violet with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, firm, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste and a pit that separates easily.
The plant belongs to the early to medium-early maturity group; the harvest is usually gathered in mid-August. The variety is self-fertile and is often used as a pollinator for other varieties. It possesses good transportability, relative resistance to fruit moniliosis, and moderate sensitivity to powdery mildew and rust.
