Trees of this variety are characterized by moderate vigor. When used as a rootstock, the variety promotes restricted growth of grafted trees, which allows for denser planting. The variety accelerates the onset of the fruiting phase for trees grafted onto it.
The fruits belong to the "prune" (Vengerka) type, have a characteristic shape and dark blue skin with a grey-blue bloom. The flesh is green-yellow in color and easily separates from the pit. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, baking, canning, and the preparation of alcoholic beverages.
The variety is used in breeding as a component to obtain new plum varieties resistant to Plum pox virus. In agronomic practice, it is valued for its good compatibility with scions and its ability to restrict the growth of grafted crops.
