The Valpovka tree has medium vigor, forming a semi-upright crown of medium density. The leaves are elliptical in shape and green with moderate gloss. Flowering of the variety occurs at a very early stage.
The fruits ripen in late July to early August; they are very small, round in shape, and yellow in color with red spots. The fruit flesh is soft and of medium juiciness; the stone separates well. The variety is not for table use; its main purpose is the production of alcoholic beverages and confectionery products.
The variety is adapted to local growing conditions. In conducted tests, Valpovka samples showed no infection with Plum pox virus.
