The variety forms a medium-vigorous tree with a medium-dense crown. Fruits ripen in the second ten-day period of September, have an average weight of 30–40 g and a characteristic bottle-like elongated-oval shape. The skin is dark blue, covered with an intense glaucous waxy bloom.
The fruit flesh is yellow, juicy and firm, distinguished by a high sugar content. The stone separates easily from the flesh. The variety shows relative resistance to plum rust mite damage and is tolerant to Plum pox virus, although it may be affected by red leaf spot.
