The tree is of medium size, 3.5 to 6 meters in height. The variety is late-maturing, with harvesting taking place in October. For fruit-bearing, cross-pollination with varieties blooming in the same period is required. The variety needs about 400–500 chill hours.

Almond kernels are large, elongated in shape; the shell is semi-hard or soft. A feature of the variety is a tendency to form double kernels. The produce is used for the production of snacks, confectionery, and almond milk. Due to late maturation dates, the variety is susceptible to Amyelois transitella infestation.
