The Nico variety is characterized by early flowering and has one of the shortest flowering periods, which can negatively affect the pollination process at low temperatures. Due to the early development of flower buds, the variety is at risk of damage from return spring frosts.

In comparative studies of the first year after planting, the variety showed weak formation of branches with fruit buds, amounting to 76.94% of the total branching volume.
