The variety is the result of breeding at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, aimed at creating plants capable of adapting to a wider range of climatic conditions than the traditional growing area on the Southern Coast of Crimea.

The variety was bred with the goal of combining late flowering, which allows for avoiding damage from spring frosts, with early fruit ripening for the possibility of industrial cultivation in southern regions.
