The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the variety IXL. The nuts have an elliptical or elongated shape and an average weight of about 1.2 g. The kernels are characterized by a light color and a wrinkled surface, with the variety being prone to the formation of 15–20% double kernels.
Biologically, the variety belongs to the S1S8 genetic type and is self-incompatible. Trees of this variety possess high winter hardiness, and flowering occurs at mid-season.
