The variety is self-pollinating and requires about 450 hours of winter chilling for successful development. The mature tree reaches a height of 4.5 to 7.5 meters and requires annual pruning for canopy formation.
The fruits are medium to large in size, have yellow skin with a red blush, and yellow melting flesh that clings to the pit. The fruit development period is 65–70 days.
The variety is moderately resistant to bacterial spot. It is inherently susceptible to peach root-knot nematode, therefore it requires grafting onto a pest-resistant rootstock.
