The variety belongs to the nectarine group and ripens at the end of August, approximately 10 days later than the Redhaven variety. The fruits have a round shape, smooth shiny skin with an intense burgundy blush over a yellow background, and juicy sweet flesh.
The trees are medium-vigorous and productive, and possess self-fertility. The variety is considered quite hardy with winter hardiness down to -22 °C; however, it is sensitive to late spring frosts due to early flowering. Intended for fresh consumption and commercial use.
