ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach

10 August 2026
The variety is a nectarine, a form of Prunus persica. One of the key biological features is male sterility, which renders the variety incapable of self-pollination and requires the presence of pollinator trees of other peach or nectarine varieties blooming at the same time.
The variety has commercial and breeding value and is used for fresh consumption. Unlike many other members of the Nectared series, it is characterized by the need for cross-pollination due to the absence of fertile pollen.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
