The tree of this variety reaches a height of about 3.5 m and has a broad-spherical crown of medium density. The variety is self-infertile; for fruit set, it requires pollinators such as «Санта Роза», «Анжелина», «Фриар» or «Блэк Голд». Fruiting begins 2–4 years after planting; productivity is characterized as high and annual.
Fruits are broad-spherical in shape with a mass of 70–100 g, in some cases up to 150 g. Skin color is dark burgundy-purple, almost black, with a glaucous bloom and light dots. The flesh is firm, juicy, cherry-colored; the pit separates poorly. The harvest period falls at the end of July – August.
The plant has winter hardiness down to –27 °C and above-average resistance to fungal diseases. The variety shows tolerance to plum pox virus. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and are noted for their transportability.
