The variety is traditional; its name translates as "double May cherry," which indicates a larger fruit size compared to the historical variety Meikers. The fruits have a round shape, are characterized by a sweet taste and juicy flesh, and are used both fresh and for culinary processing.

The tree can reach significant height, however, when using dwarf rootstocks or training as duo-trees, the height is limited to 1.5–4 meters. Harvesting takes place in June-July. The variety possesses winter hardiness, prefers sunny locations with fertile drained soil, while excessive watering provokes fruit cracking.
