The rootstock was developed in Belgium and is intended for establishing intensive orchards with high planting density. It belongs to the group of dwarf rootstocks that allow for the control of the height of grafted trees.

The use of this rootstock promotes early entry of plants into fruit bearing. In scientific publications, it is considered in the context of evaluating root system efficiency for stone fruit crops.
