The rootstock is an interspecific hybrid of Prunus incisa × Prunus serrula and is intended for transitioning sweet cherry orchards to an intensive cultivation type. It belongs to the category of dwarf or semi-dwarf rootstocks and is capable of reducing the growth vigor of grafted varieties by 25–40%.
The rootstock shows tolerance to Prunus necrotic ringspot virus and prune dwarf virus, however, cases of incompatibility issues caused by viruses were recorded during use. The use of this rootstock can lead to a decrease in the fruit size of grafted sweet cherry varieties.
