This object is not a fruit variety, but a clonal rootstock belonging to the species Prunus insititia. It is used in fruit growing for grafting various plum varieties.
The rootstock was bred by the French institute INRA. In scientific literature, it is considered in the context of trials evaluating its influence on tree growth, compatibility with the scion, yield, and fruit quality of grafted varieties.
